Half an hour north of the county is a flight of 21 locks in just a two mile span of the Grand Union canal. The Hatton Locks were opened in 1799. It’s a great place for a walk or simply watching those on the narrow-boats trying to negotiate the tricky combination of locks. There’s a café and pub or take a picnic. Have you ever visited? If so your experiences please. https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/places-to-visit/hatton-locks
