Jacobs offer a friendly chain of very good pubs North of Oxford and should be applauded and supported for their commitment to the county, including but as of yet visited, ‘Jacob & Field, Deli & Restaurant’ in the Old High Street in Oxford.
JACOBS PLOUGH – Bicester

A few blocks out from Bicester town centre, the Jacobs Plough is part of the mini Jacobs empire of five establishments in the locality. A pretty safe bet in a nice environment. The lunch menu is fine even if the parking is limited. http://jacobsplough.com
JACOBS INN – Wolvercote

A few miles north of Oxford, not too far from Summertown, an attractive country public house offering Jacobs fayre at lunch. Parking a plenty. http://jacobs-inn.com/
WOODSTOCK ARMS – Woodstock

In the delightful, historic town Woodstock, adjoining the world famous Blenheim Palace, this Jacobs pub ticks all the boxes that an Oxfordshire tourist would want of an quintessential English village pub, albeit in a congested hospitality landscape. http://www.thewoodstockarms.com
THE RED LION – Islip

Newest pub in the Jacobs portfolio. Islip is an attractive, trffic busy, village a dozen or so miles north of Oxford, in pretty close vicinity to Bicester. Spacious pub and restaurant serving good food both at lunch and in the evening. Extensive gardens that include an animal/pet attraction. In a very tight village, the pub’s extensive car park is appreciated. https://www.redlionislip.com/
